A sweet shop founded in 1931. During the hot summers, their iced Uji shiruko sweets and milk shakes are popular. Iced Uji shiruko is made by preparing a bowl of matcha green tea, mixing it with homemade syrup, and pouring the result over each bowl of shiruko (red bean soup with rice cake). The ice, matcha tea, syrup, sweet red bean paste, and shiratama rice dumplings are all made with of love and care, a delicacy requiring time and effort. Their standard shiruko, zenzai, and awazen desserts also come recommended.

先日久留米からの観光客として初来店しました。ロケーションは白山商店街西端前信号渡ってすぐ。あわぜん（税込み680円）と冷し宇治しるこ（同600円）を注文し家人とシェア。昭和6年創業のお店と同じくらい古色蒼然とした甘味に舌鼓。あわぜんのこし餡と粟餅はド迫力。白餡タイプの宇治しるこは涼しげ。満足しました。次回はかき氷（例えば冷やし大納言など）とあわぜんという組み合わせに挑戦です。

夏かき氷冬ぜんざいを食べに来ます近くの神社のコインパーキングに停め有名カレー店の前を通って店内へ夏の冷やししるこもまた美味しい昔ながらの甘味処です
