Higo-Zogan Mitsusuke
Higo-zogan inlay work is a traditional Kumamoto craft which records state dates back some 400 years when soldiers equipped with guns in service to the local feudal lord would add inlay work to their gun barrels and the guards of their swords. Today, it is used to decorate pendants, earrings, necktie pins, and other articles.
