"This swimming beach is located a 30-minute drive south of Horikiri Pass. A continuous stretch of white sands and white rest houses, the coast has even been selected for inclusion in the Selection of Best 100 Beach list. The beach is also situated close to such tourism destinations as Udo Jingu Shrine and Sunmesse Nichinan, and features such as fan palms growing along its length engender a south seas atmosphere. As the beach's waves are gentle, it's a great place for families with small children to play. Additionally, there's a ""seaborne marine pool"" created by square floats joined together on the surface of the ocean off the beach."

10月に行ったせいか、誰一人いなかった。国道には看板もあり、わかりやすい。夏の海水浴シーズンはきっと多いのだろう。シャワーなどもありそうだった。
マリンプール

宮崎市から国道を海沿いに南下して、堀切峠から２０分余り進んだ所にある美しい砂浜の海岸です。近くには運玉で有名な鵜戸神宮などの観光地もあります。ここの海水浴場には、浮き輪を並べて作ったマリンプールがあり、小さな子どもたちも安心して楽しめるようになっています。のんびりした海岸ですよ。
