"This restaurant and izakaya (Japanese-style pub) is located in Taketomi, Taketomi Town, Yaeyama County. In addition to set meals, rice bowls and a la cart items of Okinawan cuisine, they serve ice cream, shaved ice, ""satakunko""-a sata andagi (Okinawan sweet deep fried bun similar to dougnut) of Taketomi Island-and other sweets. Popular choices include ""mozuku soba,"" which won a Grand Prix award at the Yaeyama soba competition in the category of original shiru soba, and ""Taketomi soba,"" which features peucedanum japonicum and half-cooked eggs raised on the island, topped with boned rib."
