A 10-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station. This restaurant operates out of a building constructed during the early Meiji period located near the entrance to Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. The interior features a relaxed retro-modern atmosphere and hanging in the dining area is the Playing Turtles calligraphy by world famous artist Shiko Munakata. For lunch we recommend their Kurashiki Riverboat Steak meal, limited to 15 servings it pairs beef steak with three different starters, and for dinner try their Domestic Beef Steak Course meal where you can choose your favorite cut of meat. They offer a special private dining room, Kawasemi (Kingfisher), which requires advance reservation.
