A five-minute walk from JR Otsukyo Station. This cake shop is located next to the Ojiyama Police Box and in front of the Ojigaoka 3-Chome Intersection. Unlike most cake shops, the establishment is open from 9 a.m. Using an abundance of ingredients from Shiga Prefecture, the shop sells everything from a sponge cake which can even be eaten by people allergic to eggs; to items which make perfect gifts and souvenirs, like sable cookies decorated with one of 100 classic poems about Omi by 100 poets, and an apple pie selected to be given as a gift to those paying into the local Furusato Nozei hometown tax donation system. The shop also operates a cafe and offers confection making classes, as well as a delightful sweets buffet.

この店は、JR大津京駅の近くにあります。値段の割に、あまり甘くなく普通に美味しいです。店内も明るく店員さんも親切でした。

グレープフルーツのプリンが好き。容器もよくあるプラスチックの容器ではなくコップのようなガラスの容器なので、手土産として重宝する。どのケーキもいい意味でしつこすぎず普通に美味しい。
