Yamagata Railways Flower Nagai Line

This line on the Yamagata Railway runs from Akayu Station in Koriyama, Nanyo City to Arato Station in Shirataka Town, Nishiokitama County. A local line open since 1913, it connects to the Yamagata Shinkansen and Ou Main Line from Akayu Station, and the Yonesaka Line from Imaizumi Station in Imaizumi, Nagai City. There are onsen tours of the trackside onsen, like Akayu Onsen, and in spring there are cherry blossom spots including Eboshiyama Senbonzakura and Kamanokoshi Sakura. They also allow private booking of train cars.
