Below your eyes flows the crystal-clear Arakawa River and on the opposite bank you can look out at the Hachigata Castle Ruins, a designated National Historic Site. Raise your head and gaze at the wonderous scenery of the Chichibu Mountains and enjoy the view as you dine on their variety of sweetfish cuisine. While it is a classic Japanese ryokan inn, it can be used only for meal, and both lunch and dinner have course meal options that include their sweetfish rice dish. Reservations are required.
