A long-standing eel shop that first opened in 1886. The exterior of the shop has a graceful appearance with a small bridge and garden with trees and shrubs. On the inside you'll find the restaurant on the first floor, private rooms on the second floor, and a large banquet hall on the third floor allowing them to accommodate a variety of requests. The private rooms and banquet hall require advance reservations. Along with the traditional eel dishes their menu has a wide variety including authentic Japanese cuisine such as Shokado premium split bento meals, daily specials, and reception feasts.

中浦和駅より徒歩5分程、巨大な店舗、ここまで大きい鰻店はお初です。広い店内、団体専用上の階のようです。鰻以外の川魚メニューから鯉の洗い、どじょうの柳川。刺身は臭みなくコリコリ食感、どじょうは小骨は柔らかく濃い目の味付が美味しい。メインは白焼きと鰻重を注文。絶妙な焼き加減、中はふわふわ食感、風味と旨味を堪能。

コロナ対策で飲み会が出来ないので社長、部長の心意気でお昼にうなぎでも出前をとりなさいということで月曜日に出前が出来るところを探していたらこちらに。まんだな重6,400円を注文。きちんとお重に入ってきて肝吸いもあり。タレは甘くも辛くもなく程よく出前でもご飯も鰻もふっくら美味しいが価格を考えると少し高いかな？贅沢なお昼ご飯でした。ご馳走さまでした。

10年に1度くらいの割合でしか行きませんが浦和の方面に用事がある時に行きます。よく覚えていないけど改装したのかな？川魚系の料理が豊富です。ウナギは安定の旨さです。
