Nakamuraya
A long-standing eel restaurant that celebrated its 80-year anniversary in 2017. Their eel is cooked to order one by one over high quality Kishu Binchotan, the regional ubame oak charcoal, and so takes about 40 minutes to serve but has garnered a lot of fans. Along with broiled eel over rice, soy sauce-seasoned broiled eel, eel set meals, and unseasoned grilled eel they also serve full course meals though for these prior reservations are required.
