Nyuta Willow Forest

Other places famous for flowers
A roughly two-kilometer stretch of natural willow forest along the Shimanto River, the “last clear stream in Japan.” The scenery is stunning in spring when about 10 million yellow rapeseed flowers burst into bloom. The small flowers are lit up at night, creating a magical ambiance. An annual Rape Blossom Festival is held from early to late March.
