Soryusha
A gallery and shop located a five-minute walk from Ino Station on the JR Dosan Line. They produce and sell Ino-cho made Ganpishi (Tosa washi paper) and papier-mache dolls made with Tosa plaster. The products are on display in a quaint building built in the Taisho period. Using a paper wholesaler, the shop has a nostalgic, retro atmosphere. They make their zodiac inspired papier-mache every year; the familiar designs were also used on the Japan Post's zodiac stamps. Exhibits of photographs, woodblock prints, and softly hued papier-mache are on display in their earthen floored gallery.
