This tourist information center is just near the ticket gate inside the Sakaide Station on the JR Yosan Line. In addition to introducing areas of interest, accommodations, and local souvenirs, they provide rent-a-cycles, often the best way to fully enjoy downtown Sakaide. Ideal for riding and strolling, these bicycles can be rented by the day for a reasonable price just by providing some checkout information. If arriving by car, the parking under the station is free for 30 minutes.

坂出に行ったときに寄った場所のひとつです。子供向けの遊具などがあって、家族連れにはよい施設だと思います。実際、何組かの家族が遊んでいた姿が印象的でした。
瀬戸大橋が見えます

坂出市にある高台の五色台という公園の中にあるセンターハウス的な施設で、瀬戸大橋も見えました。中は結構広いホールのようになっていて、環境保護関係のパネルとか、香川県内で産出する鉱物のサヌカイトなどが展示されていました。
ここは五色台の眺めのいい場所ではない

五色台に着いて、取りあえず目についた、このビジターセンターを訪ねました。五色台の地形や動植物などを紹介する展示のほかに、香川の凧のコレクションも。これがけっこう美しくて楽しめましたが、ここは五色台の眺めのいい場所ではない。国民休暇村がベストポイントです。
