This Japanese restaurant is situated on the Shiomachi Shopping Street connecting Setoda Port and the Kousanji Temple. Here customers can enjoy conger eel, octopus, and other fresh seafood delights from the Seto Inland Sea. Conger eels are caught across Japan, but the conger eels which grow in the plankton-rich Seto Inland Sea are exceptionally fat and delicious. The restaurant takes particular pride in its exquisite conger eel hako sushi (box-pressed sushi), made with a secret recipe sauce passed down through the generations; this delicious sushi is also available for takeout. Inside the restaurant, there is a fish preserve filled with healthy conger eels swimming around.

あなごはぷりぷり、たこは柔らか

あなご丼とたこ丼を頼みました。あなごは歯ごたえがあり、ふわふわ柔らかというよりぷりぷりでした。たこはとっても柔らかくて食べやすかったです。味もちょうどよく、食べやすかったです。お味噌汁は関東の人にはちょっぴりちょっぴり濃いなぁと感じるかもしれません。12時を過ぎるとお客さんが続々と来ていたので、少し前に行った方がいいかもしれません。

タコ天丼をいただきました。タコだけではなく、カボチャと海苔の天ぷらも入ってます。バランスよかったです。他のお店と比較してお手軽価格だったのはそのせいかな。お上品なお味でした。
アナゴがとても美味しかったです。

生口島のオブジェを見にいった際にこちらに立ち寄りました。蒸しアナゴの丼を頂きました。とてもいい味で美味かったです。
