Jakushu Itteki Bunko
A literature museum in Okata, Ohi Town, Ohi County. The museum was established by novelist Tsutomu Mizukami, known for such works as 'A Fugitive from the Past', and serves as a base for the Jakushu Ningyoza puppet theater led by the author. The main building has a permanent exhibit with materials related to the career of Mizukami and his novel 'The Ocean's Fangs' written about the subject of Minamata disease. There is also a library with nearly 20,000 books from his personal collection, the puppet theater, and a workshop with classes about bamboo-paper making and ancient times.
