Rukei-goya hut
"This hut is on the grounds of a former Edo period Kaga Domain prison. The current hut was built and used for detention during the Meiwa period (1764-1772), and was called an ""Oshimari-goya (reduced-size hut)."" The prisoner was not allowed to step outside the building, and guards would provide food through a hole in the pillar. In 1965, it was designated a Toyama Prefecture Registered Tangible Folk Cultural Property for its value to folk studies."
