This hall exhibits tools related to Gokayama's three major industries of the Edo period: niter, sericulture, and washi paper. On the Ainokura gassho-style- village construction's designation as a national Historic Landmark in 1969, this museum was opened to collect folk materials from the region and display items related to the lifestyle nurtured by the local topography. It uses gassho-style old private home.

相倉合掌造り集落の駐車場から一番奥まったところに位置しております。メインの散策路から少し離れており、見過ごしてしまいそうです。相倉民俗館とは異なり、五箇山の主要産業であった塩硝、養蚕、和紙づくりの道具などが展示されています。

世界遺産にも指定されている、相倉の合掌造り集落。集落は、今も生活されている方も多く、内部に入れるところは限られています。こちらは、民俗館と共通券で入場できます。集落の一番奥あたりで、少しわかりにくい場所にあります。

相倉集落の奥になりなす。民俗館との共通券で行きました。こちらは塩硝造りや養蚕、和紙づくりの展示が主です。特に塩硝造りについてはこちらで初めて知りました。特に解説してくれる方はいませんでしたが、受付の方に質問すればこたえていただけました。
