Located in Ouchi-juku, a sightseeing spot in Oku-Aizu, this temple enshrines the Amida Nyorai Buddha and is the family temple of the residents of Ouchi-juku. During the Boshin War, the temple was used by the government army as a military feed station and first-aid station. From the observatory, a panoramic view of Ouchi-juku can be seen.
