This ramen shop dates back to the 1920s. Located about a three-minute walk from Kitakata Station, they offer natural, additive free ramen. The bright, glass-lined interior offers a somehow nostalgic, modern atmosphere. Their flat, thick noodles are aged, and their hand-kneaded crinkled shape offers a chewy texture that matches the richly flavored broth perfectly. They also offer a menu of Chinese dishes, including Baniku Mapo Men noodles with spicy, authentic mapo tofu and horse meat, as well as gyoza dumplings, shrimp in chili sauce, and more.

喜多方駅の近くなので、時間がないときは便利ですね。いわゆる喜多方ラーメンとは違う味です。あっさり系の中華そばです。僕好みの中華そばです。いいですね。

喜多方を電車でおとづれた方にはお勧めのエキチカラーメン店です。通りをはさんで桜井食堂がありますが、こちらもお勧めです。さっぱりラーメンにここのうりはチャーシューですね。臭みもなくとてもやわらか。また食べたくなる味ですね。

午後２時なのに大混雑、すぐ案内されて醤油ラーメン普通盛り６５０円を注文。家庭的な店内、普通盛りで充分満足できる分量で、ラーメンのスープまでのみほしてしまいました。
