Soba / Udon
"This soba buckwheat noodle restaurant uses Kowashimizu, known as ""famous water from Aizu."" It is located about a five-minute-drive from Lake Inawashiro, and serves soba noodles using Kowashimizu (famous water from Aizu) that have been loved by locals since long ago. The soup base, a specialty of the restaurant with its rich broth, is a perfect match for the smooth soba noodles. Their stone-milled soba noodles made from local indigenous buckwheat have a rich flavor and are highly fragrant. Their ""manju no tempura,"" homemade deep-fried manju buns served with soy sauce, is a specialty that has been popular for over 100 years. There are also many tourists who come to buy souvenirs."
