- Not a very authentic experience - but the only one available to appreciate Ainu culture, which in today;s Japan has become a commodity to attract tourists. Some nice hand crafts are sold in the area...

- A village is actually few wooden handicraft shopping streets with various designs and (mostly) reasonable prices. Weve shopped there for couple of hours and had a good time.
