Kasaoka Horseshoe Crab Museum is located in Yokoshima in the city of Kasaoka. It contains a large aquarium where visitors can observe adult horseshoe crabs. The museum also contains exhibits about raising juvenile horseshoe crabs and an exhibit of dinosaur skeletons. Adjacent to the museum are Dinosaur Park, which contains models of dinosaurs, and athletic field, and a nature observation park with a horseshoe crab breeding ground.

もっとカブトガニを展示してほしい‼️

建物や展示室の構造はバブルを思わせる豪華なそれでありましたまた恐竜の展示が非常に多く恐竜館ではないのかと思うほどです。肝心のカブトガニについてはきちんと展示はしているのですがその数は非常に少なくもっと置いて欲しいと思います。目の前には大きな公園がありそこも恐竜一色でした。少しお金の使い方が間違ってるのではないかと思いました。ただ全体としては面白い博物館でした。
親子連れにはいいところかも

地方の小さい水族館（博物館、資料館）も、千差万別です。外観などからの想像の通り、しょぼくて遅かれ早かれつぶれそうな施設もあれば、一芸に秀巨大な施設よりも面白いところがあったりします。このカブトガニ博物館は、可も無く不可も無く、期待相応でした。カブトガニの展示内容はこれ以上充実させるのは難しいと思うので、恐竜・化石の展示内容のリニューアル、工夫などをいづれ改修などの機会があるのであれば、期待します...

カブトガニが半分を占める充実の展示ですが、恐竜もメインに展示されています。隣接の公園も恐竜のオブジェが充実しています。建物はカブトガニをフィーチャーした独特の形。カブトガニマニアに限らず楽しめそうです。
