"This cafe is in a refurbished lacquer artisan's town house from the Edo period. Their meals come served in the lacquerware you'd expect from a town where it was a major industry. Their dark black beef “Kuroe Curry"" is named after the area and gets its distinctive curry powder from a blend of bamboo charcoal and budo-sansho Japanese pepper from Kainan City and Kimino Town. They use wild rice. They also sell lacquerware, display it in their gallery, and hold Negoro lacquerware polishing workshops."

紀州漆器のまち、黒江にある古民家カフェ。金比羅大権現から細い道に入ると古い町家が多く残っています。その中のひとつがこちらです。黒江には食事や休憩ができる場所がなく、こちらは貴重なお店です。
古民家の雰囲気が良いです

江戸時代の塗師町家を改修した古民家のお店です。漆器販売やギャラリーのほか、漆器技法体験もされていました。また、カフェでは、きれいな漆器の器で地元食材を使った食事をいただくことがでました。
レトロな空間

随分古い古民家を改装したカフェ。訪問時はやっていませんでしたが、定期的に色々な体験をしているようです。落ち着きと風情のある空間で、休憩に良かったです。コーヒーは美味しかったです。
