Roadside Station Kushimoto Hashigui-iwa
This roadside station on National Route 42 is approximately seven minutes by car from JR Kushimoto Station. The Hashigui-iwa Rock is a National Natural Monument. As the facility's name suggests, you can get a good view of it from the premises. There's a clear view from the observation deck of the unique scenery of its 40 large and small formations scattered offshore. The roadside station is a good place for a quick bite to eat there with items like French fries and fried yakisoba noodles, and their soft serve ice cream made with locally grown ponkan oranges is especially popular. The facility's shop sells lots of items featuring plums and jabara citrus. It's open 365 days a year.
