Former Nishikawa Residence
A historic building located in 2 Chome Shin-machi, Omihachiman City. The building was constructed in 1706 as a residence for Nishikawa Riemon III, a wealthy merchant who built his fortune through the trading of mosquito nets and tatami mat facings under the Omojiya trade name. Today, the building operates as one of the facilities of the Omihachiman City Museum.
