Harie Shozu no Sato Committee
A community located in Harie Shinasahi-Cho, Takashima City. The community makes use of “kabata,” interconnected water stations used for daily needs such as washing vegetables through which the abundant spring waters of the area are circulated via canals. The kabata themselves are located on the grounds of private homes and accordingly visitors may not tour them without permission; instead, a guided tour is required to see this unique and beautiful local cultural aspect.
