This Japanese confection store is popular for the taste and cute look of their many flavorful manju (steamed buns). The most well-known of these is their gen-raku goma manju (sesame steam buns). They feature a beautiful lustrous black skin containing bamboo charcoal that is stuffed with red bean paste with plenty of black sesame kneaded in. Like the main store and the Shuzenji store, this Atami location is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and closes as soon as it runs out of inventory for the day.

しっとり、ずっしりとしたお饅頭。試食させいただき、虜になりました。種類がいくつかありますが、黒いお饅頭が一番しっとししている気がします。お土産にもおすすめ。日持ちがあまりしないので、かえる日に購入するのがおすすめ。予約もできます。

外から、中まで、全部が真っ黒な饅頭、こんな饅頭みたことがなく、試食させてくれていたので一口ご馳走になり、一言「旨い！！」思わず２箱購入してしまいました。値段は少し高い気がしますが、個人的には、お土産にする価値あり。

熱海に行くと毎回買います。試食でまるっと１つお饅頭をいただけます。かわがモチモチ、しっとりしていて、甘すぎず、大好きな饅頭です！自宅用と家族のお土産用に購入しました。日もちしないので、お土産用にするには注意が必要です。
