Sanko Inari Shrine
A Shinto shrine standing at the foot of Inuyama Castle in Inuyama Kitakoken, Inuyama City. Although uncertain, according to legend, the temple was founded in 1586. The shrine was originally located in the adjoining Marunouchi Ryokuchi Park and was moved to its current location in 1964. The shrine was once frequented by Oda Nobuyasu, uncle of the mighty Oda Nobunaga, as well as the Naruse clan, whose members once served as the lords of Inuyama Castle.
