Okazaki Park
This park is located along the Tokaido Road, in Kosei-cho, Okazaki City. This historic park surrounds Okazaki Castle, which is the famous birthplace of Ieyasu Tokugawa, and has been chosen as one of Japan's Top 100 Castles. Additionally, there is the Ieyasu and Mikawa Bushi Museum, which holds exhibitions relating to the life of Ieyasu and the history of the samurai of Mikawa, as well as Tatsuki Shrine and other historical sights. There are also around 800 Yoshino Cherry trees in the park that line the banks of Oto River and Igagawa River, making it a famous cherry blossom-viewing spot.
