Hokusei Central Park
Hokusei Central Park is located a 20-minute drive from the Yokkaichi East Interchange. It is a park for sports and recreation that straddles the city of Yokkaichi, the town of Komono, and the city of Inabe. Its grassy expanse covers four times the area of Nagoya Dome. There are forested trails for walking and exploration, and visitors can borrow equipment free of charge, so even those who arrive empty-handed can have a good time. There are also baseball diamonds and tennis courts that visitors can reserve for a fee. It is a favorite spot for viewing blossoms, not only the Kobukuzakura cherry trees, which bloom around October, but also Yoshino cherries, weeping cherries, and mountain cherries, with their unusual yellow blossoms.
