Toyo-ichi
Toyo-ichi is a restaurant with a retro atmosphere that serves fresh seafood. The front of the restaurant, where souvenirs are sold, is open to the outside, and the tatami rooms farther inside provide a relaxed layout for leisurely dining. The main offerings are prix fixe meals made with locally caught fish that are kept alive till the last minute. There is also a grilling space inside the restaurant, and customers can enjoy freshly grilled turbo sazae, clams, oysters, squid, and other seafood, including sea urchin grilled in the shell. Seasonal menu items such as red rockfish and scallops roasted on skewers are available only in the winter.
