This veteran restaurant on the Iga Highway in Ueno-nonin-machi, Iga City, Mie Prefecture specializes in meat dishes. They offer the finest grade of carefully inspected Iga beef from a superlative pedigree of Iga cattle. They use only the best sukiyaki meat for their local favorite Kotobuki-yaki, thin slices of beef cooked with vegetables at the table in a cast-iron pan. They don't use any seasoning to let the savory goodness of their superb ingredients shine through. Another amazing dish is the local favorite Butter Yaki, tender loin topped with butter and grated daikon radish and served with condiments.

前日に松阪の和田金さんで松阪牛を食べ、翌日、伊賀上野の金谷本店さんで伊賀牛を食べて、贅沢な食べ比べをしました（全国旅行支援のクーポンのおかげ！）。我が家的には伊賀牛に軍配を上げます。伊賀牛は生産量が少ないのでほとんどが地元で消費されるそうです。それゆえ全国的に有名というわけではないですが、我が家のランキングでは堂々1位です。明治時代からの老舗金谷本店の昔ながらの雰囲気も接客も最高です！

関東から向かうにはなかなかの旅路となります。１週間ほど前にランチ予約して訪問。メニューは、●すき焼き@7722●瓶ビールとしやした。個室にておばさまが目の前で手慣れた手つきでこしらえてくれます。素材ももちろん素晴らしいのはわかるのですが、この仕立てでうまくないわけがない。とてもシンプルな砂糖と醤油の味付けにて作品を完成させていきます。感服。

タイトル通りです。わざわざ名古屋から伺いました！注文したのはバター焼きになります。正に絶品で、非常に満足いく食事でした。オススメのお店になります。
