Ichigo Beach

This beach is accessible by taking the Shima Nokyo-mae bound bus service from UgataStation on the Kintetsu Shima Line. It is located at the end of the 20-minute bus ride and a further five-minute walk from the final bus stop. Spider Lily blooms along this beautiful white sand beach, and on a clear day, the blue sky continues all the way to the far horizon. It is very popular for surfing, but the scenery can also be enjoyed on a drive along the edge of the beach. Although there are parking lots, toilets and sidewalks available, the beach is not a designated place for swimming, so visitors must be aware of their own responsibility in that regard.
