Gotemba Beach
"Located in Fujikata, Tsu City, approximately 17kilometersof this famous coast and beaches with its white sand and green pine trees have been designated as a prefectural national park. The wide beach and calm waves of the sea are ideal for swimming and beach volleyball. It is also a clamming spot, where visitors can gather shellfish such as razor clams and asari clams. Visitors can also experience using a beach seine or the ""set net"", whereby fish are caught in a net set along the mud flats when the tide goes out. There are also several rest areas, so families can enjoy the beach throughout the whole day."
