Sengataki Falls
This waterfall is one of the highlights of Mt. Ontake's Shosenkyo Gorge in northern Kofu City. It is located at the foot of Kakuenbo Rock in the innermost part of Shosenkyo Gorge. The beautiful waterfall, which is gradually eroding the granite rock face, is visited by many tourists year-round. While the 30 meter-tall falls are impressive during the fall foliage season, it is also well worth a visit after area is covered in snow.
