Arakura Fujisengen-jinja Shrine

This shrine located in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture was built in the year 705. It is worshipped by locals for protection from disasters, household harmony, safe childbirth, and children's healthy growth. Some of the shrine's landmarks include a sacred tree worshipped for children's growth and a five-storied pagoda that serves as a monument to the faithful who have fallen in battle. In the spring, the temple is visited by many who come to see their 300 cherry blossom trees in full bloom.
