Tennen Onsen Manten no Yu
This hot spring facility is located about a 30-minute drive from the Shirotori-Takasu Interchange. Situated next to a slope, it is at an altitude of 1,000 meters. Known for the Japanese-style interior and its baths that make skin silky smooth, Japan’s best known high-quality hydrogen carbonate hot spring is very popular with women and children. There are rotenburo (open-air baths), indoor baths and saunas, and the view from the rotenburo is especially superb. As nature’s beauty throughout the four seasons spreads before you, you can see the vivid green of trees during the day, and a sky full of stars at night. After soaking in the baths, relish on regional cuisine in the rest area with tatami floors.
