"A long-standing Japanese confectionary shop which has been operating in Kanazawa for 390 years. The shop's ""Choseden,"" a traditional confection made with rakugan candy, is considered one of the most famous sweets made in Japan. The shop also makes and sells many other historic and renowned confections, such as the ""Chitose,"" anko red bean paste wrapped in soft gyuhi dough; and moist ""Kuro Yokan"" black jelly. The shop also actively seeks to create new sweets and its display cases are filled with colorful namagashi fresh-made sweets, kudzu sweets made with high quality kudzu powder, and higashi dried sweets made with elegant wasanbon refined Japanese sugar. 金沢東茶屋街にあります、江戸時代の町屋をそのままに利用した茶寮で金沢の歴史に思いをはせながら茶菓子類を頂きました。

ひがし茶屋の散策中にこのお店で一休みしました。和菓子の購入もできますが、店内には綺麗な坪庭もありますので、この庭を眺めながらお茶をすることもできます。今回はコーヒーの和菓子付セットをいただきました。お菓子も美味しくほっこりとした気分になりました。

冷たい雨の降る11月の午後、金沢・ひがし茶屋街で一休みしたいと思い入りました。昔のお茶屋さんの建物をそのまま使用した雰囲気のある店です。中庭に面した席でゆったりとお抹茶とお菓子をいただきました。トイレも素敵でしたヨ！
