Sugimoto Suisan Co., Ltd. (Omi-cho Shop)

A shop selling processed marine products which carries seafood from Kanazawa. The shop's specialty is its kabayaki broiled eel made with select ingredients. Due to the rising price in eel, would-be diners must make an advance reservation by phone to the Omi-cho office. In addition to eel, the shop also sells local loach broiled kabayaki style. This is quite reasonably priced and is a popular snack to enjoy on the go in the area. In addition, the shop sells seasonal items caught in nearby waters like northern shrimp and snow crab. The shop's small selection of side dishes, like nanbanzuke, are also popular.
