Maintaining artistic works in a variety of ways, such as in collections, themed exhibits and in special exhibits, the Fukui Fine Arts Museum primarily assembles works from artists connected to Fukui Prefecture, and has been home to the Okashima collection since 1987. In the special exhibit area, you will find works by many famous artists from Japan and abroad.

田原町駅から徒歩10分ほど。直線を基調とした建物は佐藤武夫設計事務所の設計でBCS賞を受賞している。訪館時に開催されていたのは特別企画展「岐阜県美術館名品展」とテーマ展。特別企画展の観覧料は1,000円で同チケットでテーマ展も観覧可能。展示室内は撮影不可。テーマ展は特別企画展に合わせた展示内容となっており日本画が中心。福井にゆかりのある芸術家・作品の他、横山大観や歌川広重の作品なども展示。平日の...

福井駅からバスで15分くらいの場所です。規模は2階建てで大きくはありませんが、絵画と写真の2つの企画展が同時開催されていました。ウッドワン美術館の名品展と地元出身の写真家の写真展です。ミュージアムショップがロビーにありますが、少し狭いと感じました。
福井駅から少し距離があるので、車がないとアクセスしにくいですね。

福井で時間があったので立ち寄りましたが、福井駅から少し距離があるので、車がないとアクセスしにくい場所ですね。特別企画展以外の常設展示のみであれば100円で鑑賞できます。時期がずれていて見学できませんでしたが、浮世絵展など5月には開催予定と書かれていましたし、タイミングがあえば色々な美術に触れられると思います。
