This venerable soba restaurant opened in 1871. Their handmade soba noodles made with buckwheat flour made in the prefecture are boiled to order. We recommend their oroshisoba (soba noodles topped with grated daikon radish), which combines their springy and substantial thick-cut noodles with a carefully-selected seasonal blend of four varieties of grated daikon radish. Their arabiki oroshisoba (soba with roughly grated daikon radish), which is only available from April to November, is also quite popular.

昔、訪れた美味しい蕎麦や

2021年8月、家族４人で訪れました。昔と言っても７年程前、近隣の取引先で美味しい蕎麦を訊ねたところ、当店を紹介されました。その後行きたくても辿り着けず残念な思っていました。麺が太めの田舎蕎麦のおろし蕎麦です。昔と変わらずの美味しさです。また来れると判り大満足の美味しさでした。
越前蕎麦の名店

越前粟田部町の国道417号線沿いに建つ越前蕎麦の老舗名店。明治４年創業の古い歴史を有する店で店構えも古風な雰囲気です。品書きは蕎麦のみで極太麺が特徴で噛んで食べる感じで腹に応えます。県外から名前を聞いて来る客が多いです。駐車場は店から１０m程離れた所にあります。
