"The museum is located about five minutes by car from JR Watanoha Station. Visitors can learn about the achievements of the Keicho Diplomatic Mission to Europe and the culture of sailing ships during the Age of Discovery by viewing a large screen showing the interior of the restored ship, the San Juan Bautista, a galleon that sailed the Pacific Ocean and back in the 1600s, and an aerial view of the ship. The adjacent ""Ishinomaki City San Juan Bautista Park"" was built in the image of the Italian square seen by HasekuraTsunenaga and others of the Keicho Diplomatic Mission, and outdoor events are also held there. Ive visited this site several times since 2014. However, its been over two years since my last visit. Now you cannot go to the dock around the ship. You cannot board the ship. I talked to the women...
公共交通機関でのアクセスに難あり

アクセスは行きは渡波駅から徒歩で、帰りはタクシーを利用しました。サン・ファン・バウティスタ号は残念ながら老朽化のため内部見学はできませんでしたが、なかなか見応えがありました。公共交通機関で訪問する場合は、バスや電車の本数が少ないため、事前にしっかりと計画を立てたほうが良いかと思います。
支倉常長の冒険

伊達政宗公の夢、支倉常長の冒険が詰まった、慶長年間の大航海を記憶している施設です。施設の通称は『サン・ファン館』支倉常長のノビスパニア（メキシコ）からイスパニア（スペイン）ローマへの旅の記憶が詰まった博物館です。現在では外観を眺めることしかできませんが、１９９３年に復元された国内最大のガレオン船（木造様式帆船）サン・ファン・バウティスタ号が係留されています。
