This large market is located about 12 minutes on foot from Ishinomaki Station on the JR Senseki Line. Every day they offer fresh Ishinomaki caught seafood on the first floor, and visitors love their fresh picked vegetables and just-baked bread. They also sell local specialties and unique items, letting guests shop to their hearts' content in the spacious, high ceilinged store. The second floor is a food court where you can dine on dishes that showcase Ishinomaki seafood like their Kinkazan Rice Bowl heaped with fresh local toppings and their Anago Tempura Rice Bowl topped with an enormous portion of conger eel, crispy on the outside and tender within.

２階で食事ができます。１階はお土産屋さん。北上川沿いにあり、土手から２階の食堂に直接入ることもできます。魚介のメニューや石巻のB級グルメも食べることができます。値段も比較的良心的だったと思います。自分は石巻焼きそばを食べました。他地域のご当地焼きそばをまだ食べたことがないので、比較はできませんが、普通に焼きそばとしておいしかったです。

2Fが食事、1Fが食材です。お弁当や果物も買えます。お土産も買えます。なんでも揃うお店です。バスが乗り入れます。田代島への船乗場は隣です。石巻駅から徒歩10分ちょっとです。

石巻のマンガッタン近くにある物産の市場でお買い物。そのあとその2階にある食堂で食事。テラス席があり、目の前にはマンガッタンが見えるという景色も素敵❗石巻ならやはり海鮮も欠かせない。ということで食べたのはオススメの元気丼(海鮮丼)1350円。エビ、帆立、マグロ、中トロ、ほっき、さばなど、あれこれ乗った丼でした。ごちそうさまでした(^o^)
