Roadside Station Joubon no Sato

A roadside station standing along National Route 45 close to the Kahoku interchange on the Sanriku Expressway. The station is adjoined by the Futago no Yu hot spring bath facility, and visitors can soothe away the fatigue of their journey here. The station's restaurant, Shiori, serves a popular buffet consisting of a variety of local specialty dishes. Manjuya-san, located at the entrance to the station's farm-fresh market, sells Chikuwa Sankyodai chikuwa fish paste skewers and the Ishimaki Oden Burger, which was developed in collaboration with the local Ishinomaki Senshu University.

道の駅ランキング2位ということであるが、そこまで目新しさを感じなかった。食事もそこまでの名物感がなく産直、お土産コーナーも普通。温泉がついているのが良いのだろう。
トイレの場所が非常に分かりづらいです。

建物の周りを木のデザインで施されている感じの変わったつくりでした。おしゃれな感じはしますが一体どこに何があるのか、特に夜は分かりずらいかなと思いました。女子トイレは広く清潔感もありました。気になったのは、ウォシュレットが4箇所回って一個だけ正常で他は故障していました。便座も冷たく管理不足かなと感じました。駐車場は明るめで利用し易いと感じました。

レストランのバイキングと温泉を利用しました。野菜や果物もたくさん販売されていました。レストランは1100円程度でバイキング、温泉は平日550円、休日750円で利用できます。温泉はおそらく地元住民も利用しているような感じがします。この他もしアメニティ忘れたとなっても気軽に購入できます。
