The station sells farm-fresh vegetables; rice, beans, and mushrooms picked by local farmers and delivered that morning. 小さな道の駅です。蕎麦がメインの食堂が併設されていますが、土産物の方が人気ですね。その土産物ですが、地元の野菜や手作りのお菓子、ご飯、パンなどが魅力的です。ここの焼きおにぎりやシソの葉で包んだおにぎりはお勧めです。レンジでチンして食べると良いですよ。

天栄に行くと、必ず立ち寄ります。ほぼ買い出し状態です。おすすめは、キュウリ。生のものも、漬物も美味しいです。お豆腐や手あげも良いですよ。卵は、お昼には売り切れてしまうこともあるくらい、人気があります。

地元の食材をお土産に買って帰りたくて寄りました。欲しかったものが残り1つしかなく、念のため店員さんに尋ねてみると、あちこち探しまわって要望に応えようとしてくれました。
