Naritasan Park Plum Grove
Covering almost 41 acres, within the Naritasan Park are three ponds and two waterfalls. Along the route from the park entrance, rightward behind the main temple, to the Peace Tower and the Naritasan Museum of Calligraphy there are 460 red and white plum trees that come to full bloom between February and March. One can enjoy viewing the plum blossoms while listening to the peaceful sounds of water droplets cascading into the Suikinkutsu font next to the Museum, resonating like the sound of an exquisite Koto harp.
