Ichinoya Kawagoe Main Restaurant
Unagi Ichinoya is one of Kawagoe's oldest and eel restaurants and has been serving barbecued eel in its old Edo-style building continuously since 1832. Served with a sauce that has been handed down through the generations, the eel meat is thickly cut and tender. In addition to eel dishes, the restaurant also serves Japanese dishes and multicourse meals made with seasonal ingredients.
