Beach
The marine environment around this beach in Minami Boso Quasi-National Park is known as the northernmost extent of coral’s range. The reef stretches from the shore to Okinoshima Island. Because the sea is shallow, and the waves are calm, it is ideal for swimming, having fun on the beach, beach combing, and fishing. It is incredibly popular with people of all ages, and families in particular. A beachside clubhouse opens during the swimming season when it’s packed with beach goers. Because the sea water is very clear and clean, you can also enjoy snorkeling.
