Soba-Toto is a Soba noodles restaurant situated at the foot of Mt. Takao in Takao Town, Hachioji City. Besides hand-made Soba noodles made using buckwheat flour ground using a traditional stone mortar, Soba-Toto also serves other cuisine, the ingredients for which include organic seasonal vegetables and organic cereals. The restaurant’s “Tenseiro” Soba-noodles dish, which has tempura made using seasonal vegetables added to it, is especially popular.

二度目の来訪です。第一印象は蕎麦屋よりも雑穀料理と酒のおともの料理が美味しく感じましたが戸隠蕎三昧して直ぐに比べてもレベルはかなり高いと感じました。蕎麦の旨さは以前よりアップしたように感じられました。トマトベースのつゆの蕎麦を頼みましたがしばらして蕎麦湯を運んで頂きました。高尾駅と高尾山口駅のほぼ中間に位置し、小仏川右岸を200m程入りのぼりと案内が出た一番奥の右...

そばはそれなりにうまい。が開店当初のそばつゆのままである。そばの量もそこらの手打ち蕎麦屋のそれと同じ、腹がふくれない。要するに、量が少ない。気取った蕎麦屋を目指すのであれば、一考が必要であろう。
