Mayu-akari Yume Kobo
A two hour class during which you can spin thread from a silkworm cocoon and create a shade with pressed flowers and leaves for your very own mayu-akari (cocoon lamp). The classroom facility is located near the center of the Kamogawa River surrounded by many shops and businesses, and making a lamp can be a fun activity after exploring the area. Accented by pressed flowers, the silk shades you can make here create a soothing, pleasant light.
